Los Altos Hills - Incorporated in 1956, the Town of Los Altos Hills is a premier Silicon Valley residential community located adjacent to the City of Los Altos, thirty-five miles south of San Francisco, five miles south of Stanford University and seventeen miles north of downtown San Jose. The advocates of incorporation were dedicated to the "preservation of the rural atmosphere of the foothills and orderly and unhurried growth".
 
 
Los Altos - Tree lined streets and a small village atmosphere characterize Los Altos which is located in the heart of world famous Silicon Valley. Just 40 miles south of San Francisco, Los Altos is a residential community served by seven small retail areas. The seven square mile city is developed with small businesses, schools, libraries and churches.

Commercial activity is encouraged to the extent that it primarily meets needs of residents of the community. Redwood City - A community of just over 75,000 people, a center of high-tech industry, and the mid-point of the beautiful San Francisco Peninsula, Redwood City is known for its great climate and profound sense of community. Redwood City is devoted to preserving its rich history, maintaining today’s quality of life, and carefully planning its future.
 
Woodside - The Woodside area is distinguished for having been the home of some of the first English-speaking settlers on the San Francisco Peninsula. In the 1830's William Smith (Bill the Sawyer), a fur trader from Oregon, made his home in Woodside, as did John Cooper and James Pease. Charles Brown built the first sawmill on his Mountain Home Ranch. His adobe house was built in 1839 and stands today.
